Life is about challenges, fun and enjoying what you do. As an amateur tri-athlete I train to complete the course faster each time. As an experienced leader and Black Belt I guide teams to the next level, continuously look for improvements and implement change to better the company, the team and each individual.
Triathlon is about heart and mind. Most of the times a race is not a sprint but a marathon. Prepare well, eat the right food and enjoy the race. Find your limits in mind and soul. Individually, without depending on others. Challenged only by other enthusiasts, water, wind and strengthened by the performance of your gear.
Work is about passion. About building a successful team and getting the job done together. No is not the answer. There is always a way to get the job done. The challenge is to do it smarter, to invest in the right tools & equipment to make things easier and to have fun together
From Financial Professional to All-Round Business Leader
My career began in 1998 at a private equity firm, where I honed my skills as a financial expert. A few years later, I transitioned to an international publicly listed company, where I grew from a financial professional into an all-round business leader between 2001 and 2017. Here, I discovered my passion for General and Operational Management, focusing on teamwork and building strong teams. After 19 years in various roles, including three years living and working in the United States, I had the privilege in 2017 to experience the unique strengths of teamwork combined with long-term goals, sustainability, and the strong values of a family-owned Royal company.
Throughout the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work globally, collaborate with people from diverse cultures, and gain valuable insights. These experiences taught me that working with people is far more fulfilling than working with numbers alone. I firmly believe that combining sustainability with people-focused leadership not only enhances business results but also contributes to building a better world.
